One House; Two… Hice?

Welcome, Wibbly Wordsters ✒️

One Mouse , Two Mice; One House, Two… Hice?

Plurals in English are pretty simple, aren’t they? You just add an ‘s’ to the noun, don’t you?

one pig 🐷 – two pigs 🐖 🐖;
one cow 🐮 – three cows 🐄 🐄 🐄.

You get the idea. Easy. Umm… except when it isn’t!

This poem gives you an idea of just how crazy English plurals can be… 🤪

One hippopotamus, two… hippopotamuses?
Hippopotami?

Or just hippos?
You tell I!
